• We partner with workplaces that participants identify as organizations that they are interested in working in.
• We prepare participants to enter the workplace by completing a pre-employment seminar that actively introduces them to all 5 key skill-building areas of the professional development curriculum through group-based employability skills training.
• We set up work placements where our participants join you for 3.5 days a week on 7.5 hours/day shifts.
• Every week participants return to the centre for 1.5 days of extensive leadership, initiative taking, and professional development training, learning hands-on and gaining weekly training, mentoring, and coaching they can immediately apply in your workplace.

Surprisingly no, there’s very little.

• We can either 1) pay participants directly or 2) you can, and we’ll reimburse you according to your payroll requirements. All that’s needed for this is a weekly timesheet.
• We prepare a memorandum of understanding (MOU) agreement between TMC, participants and the cooperating workplace that gets signed at the start of the work experience.
• We conduct a mid-program performance review halfway through the program with the participant and cooperating workplace supervisor, which participants prepare for during professional development training.
• Our program staff perform regular check-ins to track participants’ progress, address anything that may require attention and gather information for professional development training and performance coaching needs.
